Betting On Premier League Matches – 1st & 2nd October
Betting On Premier League Matches - 1st & 2nd October
Not many shocks last weekend if you are the betting type, although I am sure Stoke busted a few coupons, but at the same time many saw it coming. Every game in the Premier League is unpredictable and we have mouth watering clashes this weekend, where pride is more important than just the points.
Key Clashes
Everton v Liverpool - Saturday 12:45pm
The first Merseyside clash of the season. Everton sit in 11th and Liverpool sit in 5th, so this season has gone the way most fans would of expected it to. Everton won this clash last season 2-0, when Liverpool were struggling under Roy Hodgson. These matches are always huge for both sets of fans, and it will be a passionate affair. Whatever side is more passionate usually gets the victory. Everton are 19/10 to pick up the victory here, whilst Liverpool are favourites at 6/4. A draw is 9/4, so this match could go either way. I think Liverpool have been poor of late, so I, for some reason, expect them to pull out a winning performance here. Close game, but away win.
Correct Score; 1-2 (10/1) First Goal Scorer; Steven Gerrard for Liverpool (8/1)
Special; Liverpool to come from behind and win (10/1)
Bolton v Chelsea - Sunday 1:30pm
Bolton are sitting bottom of the table after losing 5 matches in a row. They looked good after they beat QPR 4-0 away in the first game of the season. Since that, despite having many hard fixtures, they have lost them all, including a home match against Norwich. Chelsea are starting to look the part in this season. They picked up points at the beginning of the campaign without playing too well, but Juan Mata has improved their play a lot. Despite losing to Manchester United, they have had a very strong start to the season, and sit in 3rd place. Bolton currently have a terrible record against Chelsea, and haven't taken points off them since 2008. Bolton are 11/2, as Chelsea are overwhelming favourites at 8/15. Usually, football just goes against the form book in these type of matches, but I am still going for an away win.
Correct Score; 0-2 (8/1) First Goal Scorer; Didier Drogba for Chelsea (9/2)
Special; Chelsea to win with 2 or fewer goals scored in the match (10/3)
Tottenham v Arsenal - Sunday 4:00pm
This is the biggest match of the weekend, and I can't recall their being a much bigger derby than this. For the first time in a very long time, Tottenham are favourites for this clash. Arsenal have never been below Tottenham in the Premier League era, when the season has finished, but if Tottenham play like they can, and Arsenal don't pick up their form, then you have to say Tottenham will finish the higher. Tottenham were brilliant against Liverpool a few weekends ago, and if they produce the same form, then Arsenal may be beaten well. Arsenal don't have a bad record at White Hart Lane mind, and always go their and play well. Tottenham are 6/5 to win, whereas Arsenal are 9/4. I just want an enthralling match, so maybe this may end 0-0.
Correct Score; 0-0 (16/1) First Goal Scorer; Rafael Van Der Vaart for Tottenham (5/1)
Special; Adebayor to score first and Tottenham win 4-0 (125/1)
Other Matches
Aston Villa v Wigan - Saturday 3:00pm
Correct Score; 1-1 (11/2) First Goal Scorer; Darren Bent for Aston Villa (3/1)
Special; There to be 0-1 goals scored in this match (11/4)
Blackburn v Manchester City - Saturday 3:00pm
Correct Score; 1-3 (9/1) First Goal Scorer; Balotelli for Manchester City (5/1)
Special; Blackburn to be winning at half time, Manchester City to win at full time (25/1)
Manchester United v Norwich - Saturday 3:00pm
Correct Score; 5-0 (16/1) First Goal Scorer; Dimitar Berbatov for Manchester United (4/1)
Special; Phil Jones to score first and Manchester United win 4-1 (250/1)
Sunderland v West Brom - Saturday 3:00pm
Correct Score; 0-2 (12/1) First Goal Scorer; Shane Long for West Brom (7/1)
Special; West Brom to win by 2 goals (10/1)
Wolves v Newcastle - Saturday 3:00pm
Correct Score; 1-0 (7/1) First Goal Scorer; Steve Ward for Wolves (8/1)
Special; Wolves to win; Draw no bet (4/6)
Fulham v QPR - Sunday 3:00pm
Correct Score; 2-1 (7/1) First Goal Scorer; Andrew Johnson for Fulham (6/1)
Special; Match to be drawing at half time, and at full time (4/1)
Swansea v Stoke City - Sunday 3:00pm
Correct Score; 1-0 (7/1) First Goal Scorer; Scott Sinclair for Swansea (11/2)

Betting on Champions League Key Clashes – Wednesday 28th
Betting on Champions League Key Clashes - Wednesday 28th
Last night we saw some fascinating moments and matches, as another Champions League day passes without any disappointments. Now, here are some betting tips for tonight's matches including Arsenal, Chelsea and Barcelona.
Valencia v Chelsea - 7:45pm
Chelsea will face arguably their hardest proposition this Wednesday night, as they face the 3rd best side in La Liga. Valencia drew to Genk on the first match day, as Chelsea defeat Bayer Leverkusen 2-0 at Stamford Bridge. Juan Mata signed from Valencia to join Chelsea, and will be playing against his old team tonight. The way Chelsea are playing, they are creating a lot of chances and will hope to score a few tonight. Valencia are not the same animal as they were about 10 years ago, but still a strong side, and held Barcelona 2-2 just last week. Valencia are 2/1 to win tonight, as Chelsea are slight favourites at 7/5. I have a feeling that this one will be a draw.
Correct Score; 1-1 (6/1) First Goal Scorer; Fernando Torres for Chelsea (9/2)
Special; Juan Mate to score first, and Chelsea win 3-0 (100/1)
Arsenal v Olympiacos - 7:45pm
Arsenal have struggled a lot so far this season. They have lost 3 times in the Premier League already, but got a vital win this weekend against Bolton. They have had better news in the Champions League though, beating Udinese home and away to qualify, before earning a hard earned point at Dortmund in their first match. Over all the games though, on paper this will be the easiest, therefore it's a must win. Olympiacos lost their first match at home to Marseille, and are the underdogs to progress to the next stage. Arsenal are strong favourites at 4/11 as the away side are 13/2, but I'd go for a comfortable home win here.
Correct Score; 4-1 (11/1) First Goal Scorer; Andrei Arshavin for Arsenal (6/1)
Special; Arsenal to score 4 or more goals (4/1)
BATE Borisov v Barcelona - 7:45pm
BATE Borisov are 18/1 to win this match, and that means it is arguably the longest odds in Champions League history for a home win. Barcelona are 1/7 to win this match, so you'll get peanuts back if you bet on them. Barcelona have yet to win a game away from home this season, so surely that may not fill you with the confidence you need. In all honesty though, Barcelona will not slip up tonight, and will win by a hefty margin.
Correct Score; 0-4 (8/1) First Goal Scorer; David Villa for Barcelona (7/2)
Special; For there to be 5 or more goals scored in this match (9/4)

Betting on Champions League Key Clashes – Tuesday 27th
Betting on Champions League Key Clashes - Tuesday 27th
Match day one of the Champions League had many intriguing games, and also some shocks along the way. Here we are into match day two, and on this Tuesday night we'll witness some fascinating games. Here are the betting tips for the key clashes happening tonight!
Bayern Munich v Manchester City - 7:45pm
Bayern Munich and Manchester City both have high hopes for this competition this early, and both think that they have the potential to win it. Bayern won their first game of the group, winning away at Villarreal. City drew to Napoli at home, which was a slight disappointment. This match will be an intriguing affair, and the highlight of tonight. Bayern are 8/11 at home have started brilliantly to this season. Manchester City are 2nd in the Premier League, after a excellent start to the season, and they are 4/1 to win tonight. Due to Champions League experience however, I believe Bayern Munich will pick up the points in this one.
Correct Score; 3-1 (16/1) First Goal Scorer; Mario Gomez for Bayern Munich (4/1)
Special; There to be 4 or more goals scored in this match (21/10)
Manchester United v FC Basel - 7:45pm
United are overwhelming favourites for this clash, despite having 8 players injured. They will missing strikers Rooney and Hernandez, so Berbatov and Owen are likely to replace them. The last time these two teams played was back in 2003, when United had won both of the matches, against a side who knocked out Liverpool earlier on in the competition. Basel sit on top of the group after their win, as United drew away to Benfica. Manchester United are 1/5 to win this match, as Basel are 14/1 to get a win here. A draw is 11/2, but realistically you should be safe and go for a home win. United very rarely lose at home in any competition.
Correct Score; 3-0 (7/1) First Goal Scorer; Park ji Sung for Manchester United (10/1)
Special; Basel to lead at half time, United to win at full time (28/1)
Real Madrid v Ajax - 7:45pm
Real Madrid have had a slighty strange season so far. Their performances against Barcelona, showed how good they really are, but have struggled in some games of La Liga, including a defeat to Levante. Ajax started their Champions League campaign with a home draw against Lyon. Madrid will be favourites to qualify first from the group, so Ajax and Lyon will be fighting for second place. Real Madrid are 2/9 to win tonight, although I don't expect it to be that easy, whilst Ajax are 14/1 to win this match. Real Madrid to win for me.
Correct Score; 2-0 (7/1) First Goal Scorer; Benzema for Real Madrid (7/2)
Special; Real Madrid to win with 3 or more goals scored in the match (2/5)

Betting on the Premier League Matches – 17th to 18th of September
Betting on the Premier League Matches – 17th to 18th of September
Here we are already, into the 5th weekend of the Premier League season! Both Manchester clubs are the teams that are setting the standard, whilst Chelsea are hot on their heels. Every team now has a point, and the league is looking tight. Liverpool suffered their first major setback of the season, losing at an improving Stoke. This weekend we have so many games to look forward too. We start the week with two teams not going through a good stage of their season, as Blackburn host Arsenal. We finish the weekend with last year’s number 1 and 2 facing off at Old Trafford, it’s of course Manchester United v Chelsea. A great weekend of football to look forward to, and here are the previews of them games and betting tips and predictions!
Blackburn v Arsenal – Saturday 12:45pm
Blackburn sit rock bottom of the table, but now have at least earned a point, as a they drew with Fulham last Sunday, away from home. Blackburn’s performances haven’t been as bad as their results, so they will give Arsenal a tough time on Saturday. Arsenal got a win against Swansea last weekend, their first win of the season, which puts bad results against Liverpool and Manchester United behind them. They made many signings on transfer deadline day, and still finding their feet at the new club. There is new optimism around the Emirates these days, and a feeling of a new era. A win here would certainly boost the team, as this game is crucial to both of them. Blackburn to win is at 10/3, whilst Arsenal are 10/11, meaning their favourites but won’t have it easy. I think Arsenal’s performances still need to improvea touch, and this game will be tough, so a draw (23/10) for me.
Correct Score; 1-1 (6/1) First Goal Scorer; Christopher Samba for Blackburn (20/1)
Special; Blackburn to be leading at half time, then draw at full time. (14/1)
Aston Villa v Newcastle – Saturday 3:00pm
Two unbeaten sides go head to head at Villa Park. Aston Villa sit on 6 points, 1 win and 3 draws, whilst Newcastle are on 8 points, 2 wins and 2 draws. Both sides have won hard games, and drawn harder games in their first few fixtures of the season. Alex McLeish has already made his Villa side look tough to beat, and they are capable of scoring goals at the other end too. Newcastle have earned 4 points on their travels this season, so they won’t be frightened to be going to Villa Park. Aston Villa have achieved 4 points at home this season, so will feel comfortable welcoming Newcastle. Both teams are tough to beat as the table suggests. Aston Villa are slight favourites, with them having home advantage, their price is EVENS. Newcastle are at 3/1, so kind odds for them, and in that case, I’d go for an away victory.
Correct Score; 0-2 (18/1) First Goal Scorer; Gabriel Obertan for Newcastle (9/1)
Special; Draw No Bet – Newcastle to win (7/4)
Bolton v Norwich – Saturday 3:00pm
Despite winning on their opening day 4-0, Bolton have lost all 3 games since. However, their opposition has been Manchester City, Liverpool and Manchester United. This match on paper looks a lot easier for the home side, and will fancy their chances. Norwich have picked up 2 points from their opening 4 games, with some performances of promise, but their last game at home to West Brom looked worrying and looked like strong relegation candidates. None of these teams are on a high going into this match, but with home advantage, you’d have to say there is more pressure on the home side. Bolton are 8/11 to end their run of losing 3 games, to win this one. Norwich are 4/1 to win here. I think Bolton will bounce back and have too much for Norwich. Home win.
Correct Score; 3-0 (12/1) First Goal Scorer; Ivan Klasnic for Bolton (5/1)
Special; Bolton to score 4 or more goals (6/1)
Everton v Wigan – Saturday 3:00pm
Everton would probably rather play away from home than at Goodison Park. Everton have only picked up 1 point from their 2 home matches, but have won their only away match. Wigan sit on 5 points after four games, as they have played the new promoted sides, along with a visit to Manchester City. The pressure will be on the home side for this one, as they will expect a home win here, having failed to do so in their first two home matches. Wigan are an unpredictable side in the Premier League, so their fans go into the game knowing they may be beaten badly or may nick a win on this occasion. Everton are 4/7 to win here, despite not winning their previous home matches. Wigan are 6/1 and a draw is at 13/5. I think Everton are due a win at home, so I’ll pick them.
Correct Score; 2-0 (6/1) First Goal Scorer; Marouane Fellaini for Everton (9/1)
Special; Wigan to score first, after the 28th minute (5/1)
Swansea v West Brom – Saturday 3:00pm
Swansea have been solid so far this season, but their huge problem is the lack of goals they have scored, which still stands at 0. If you can’t score, then you will get relegated, and they will need to improve on that as soon as possible. Swansea have had two hard away games in Manchester City and Arsenal, but home games against Sunderland and Wigan, they were expected to do better, especially if they believe they can stay up this season. West Brom lost their first 3 games, but a win at Norwich has improved their league position and are now more optimistic. They have played well in all games so far this season, but unlucky with a few results. The bookies have this as an extremely tight game, as Swansea are 8/5 and West Brom are 9/5. A draw is 11/5, so good odds for whoever you pick really. Something tells me Swansea are going to get 3 massive points here though.
Correct Score; 2-0 (8/1) First Goal Scorer; Scott Sinclair for Swansea (6/1)
Special; Swansea to score 2-3 goals (11/8)
Wolves v QPR – Saturday 3:00pm
Wolves suffered their first setback of the season, losing to Tottenham at home last weekend. Previously, they were unbeaten, earning two wins against Fulham and Blackburn, and a draw with rivals Aston Villa. Tottenham are a top side though, so they will be expecting more from their team when they host QPR. The away side have earned 4 points in 4 games so far this season, as their form is already looking inconsistent. They played Newcastle last in a 0-0 game, and despite not scoring or winning, their new signings made them look a formidable side, with plenty of creativity in their midfield. Wolves are 10/11 for this match, and QPR are 3/1 outsiders. I personally think this game can go either way, as both teams are evenly matched. I’m going for a draw (5/2).
Correct Score; 2-2 (14/1) First Goal Scorer; Jamie O’Hara for Wolves (10/1)
Special; Wolves to win with 3 or more goals scored in the match (12/5)
Tottenham v Liverpool – Sunday 1:30pm
After a poor start of the season, Tottenham finally got their season going with a 2-0 victory at Wolves. They were put to the sword by Manchester United and Manchester City, but they can be blamed on a poor pre season, but now they are focused and this is one of the most intriguing matches of the weekend. Liverpool had showed a lot of promise when they beat Arsenal and Bolton back to back, but suffered a huge setback losing at Stoke. This match was 2-1 to Tottenham last year, after Liverpool took the lead. Tottenham achieved the double on Liverpool, so the away side will be looking for some revenge, and reinstate them as the stronger team this season. The bookies have this match evenly in the balance. Spurs are at 13/8 and Liverpool are at 7/4. Draw is at 11/5. My gut tells me that this one will be a draw, Liverpool have lost there two seasons in a row, and can’t see Tottenham losing 3 in their first 4. Draw for me.
Correct Score; 1-1 (6/1) First Goal Scorer; Andrew Carrol for Liverpool (6/1)
Special; Tottenham No Bet – Draw (6/5)
Fulham v Manchester City – Sunday 3:00pm
Fulham are sitting too close to the wrong side of the Premier League table. They are a strong side, they should have got more points on the board than they currently have. 2 home draws, and 2 away defeats is all they have to show for their efforts so far this season, and this upcoming came will be the most difficult of them all, by a mile. Manchester City have been tremendous so far this season, as Aguero and Nasri have been added to an already quality squad. They are keeping up with Manchester United, as they have scored 15 goals in their first 4 games, winning all of them with some comfort. This should be a hard game given Fulham’s home record, although it was 4-1 last year to the away side. Fulham are 11/2 to win here at home to City. Whilst the visitors are 4/7. I reckon City may slip up, so go for a draw at 11/4.
Correct Score; 0-0 (8/1) First Goal Scorer; Carlos Tevez for Manchester City (9/2)
Special; Fulham to win or draw (11/5)
Sunderland v Stoke – Sunday 3:00pm
Sunderland are currently a struggling side in the Premier League. They earned a draw on the opening day at Liverpool, but since then it hasn’t been a great. One draw and two home defeats have put them at the wrong side of the table. There are no must win games in September, but Sunderland fans will be demanding a win here. Stoke have been solid so far this season, remaining unbeaten after their first 4 games, earning 8 points. They also have played Chelsea and Liverpool in the process. Stoke are looking to push even further up the table, with the signings they made, and will go for all 3 points at Sunderland. This is another even match here, as Sunderland are 7/5, and Stoke are 2/1, so both kind odds for the punter. I think Stoke will lose their first game here, and therefore Sunderland will win their first one.
Correct Score; 3-1 (14/1) First Goal Scorer; Peter Crouch for Stoke (6/1)
Special; Crouch to score first, Sunderland win 3-1 (125/1)
Manchester United v Chelsea – Sunday 4:00pm
This is the big one of the weekend. These two teams have been the best in the last 5 years, and finished 1st and 2nd last year. Manchester United form has been perfect so far, scoring 18 goals, and picking up the maximum of 12 points. They scintillating football has been a joy to watch, but this fixture will be the toughest of them all. Chelsea are only 2 points behind them, and have only dropped points at Stoke. Chelsea’s performances are improving, but they’ll need to improve drastically if they are to get something from Old Trafford. Their manager installs belief into their team, and they will try and get all points, as their record against Manchester United is better than any other team in the Premier League. Manchester United are 5/6 to win this match, so slight favourites as Chelsea are 7/2. United only dropped 2 points at Old Trafford last season, so you must back the home side here.
Correct Score; 1-0 (13/2) First Goal Scorer; Phil Jones for Manchester United (40/1)
Special; Chelsea to lead at half time, but lose at full time (25/1)

Betting on Champions League 14th September – Key Clashes
Betting on Champions League 14th September – Key Clashes
Champions League was welcomed back to our screens last night and it felt good to watch it again. Last night was only half of the show though, as we have 8 more matches tonight! Manchester United travel to Benfica, and Manchester City play their first Champions League game in history. There are some other mouth watering clashes too!
Benfica v Manchester United – 7:45pm
Benfica played Manchester United in the Champions League final in 1968, where United triumphed for the first time. Since then, they have played each other, and both teams have got the better of the other on different occasions. Manchester United were outplayed in last year’s final, and despite getting to the final, they still were far off from beating Barcelona, which will be their aim this year. Manchester United are 5/6 to win this match, so favourable but not a certainty by any means. Benfica are 10/3 to win this match, so despite home advantage them winning would be an upset. FC Basel and Otelul Galati are other teams in the group, so the two facing here should progress. Manchester United are in fine form at the moment, and have won every game since they lost to Barcelona. So I am going for an away win.
Correct Score; 1-3 (14/1) First Goal Scorer; Javier Hernandez for Manchester United (5/1)
Special; Manchester United to score 4+ goals (7/1)
Manchester City v Napoli – 7:45pm
Manchester City have reached their dream by playing in the Champions League. I narrowly missed out last year, but with an improving squad, they have finally qualified and have a chance of winning the competition. They have been given a hard group though, and tonight’s game may be the easiest, so they will have to win this one. Bayern Munich and Villarreal are other teams in the group and all must think they can progress to the next stage. Napoli finished 3rd last year in Italy, and are an improving side who will give City a tough game tonight. Manchester City are 2/5 with Napoli at 7/1, but that seems to think City will run away with it. I am saying a home win, but it will be closer than the odds suggest.
Correct Score; 2-0 (5/1) First Goal Scorer; Carlos Tevez for Manchester City (4/1)
Special; There to be 0-1 goals scored in this match (16/5)
Villarreal v Bayern Munich – 7:45pm
Villarreal best year in this competition was in 2006, where they lost in the semi finals to Arsenal. When qualified, they usually make the 2nd round but this group is the ‘group of death’. Bayern Munich lost in the final 2 years ago, before losing to the same team in the quarter finals a year later. They have world class players in Robben and Ribery, and will always fancy themselves of winning this tournament. This will be a tough game against Spain’s 4th best side. Villarreal are 11/5 to win, with Bayern at 5/4, so no clear favourites for this one. However, I fancy a home win, because the odds are kind, and Villarreal are formidable at home.
Correct Score; 2-1 (8/1) First Goal Scorer; Guiseppe Rossi for Villarreal (5/1)
Special; Villarreal to win both halves (8/1)

Betting on the Premier League Matches – 10th to 12th September
Betting on the Premier League Matches – 10th to 12th September
The Premier League season is alive and kicking, and last week’s entertainment was brilliant. Not though if you come from North London, where you were either outclassed by Manchester City or humiliated by Manchester United. There were plenty of goals all over the weekend, and the last weekend in the Premier League has got it all going! As I do every week, here are some betting tips for this weekend’s matches. Unfortunately I couldn’t do one of the last weekend of games, but obviously would have never predicted an 8-2 score line. So far I have been correct more times than being incorrect in terms of results, so I’ll give myself a pat on the back but I need to get more specials and fist goal scorers right. These weekend we have some cracking games to look forward to, all the top 6 avoid each other on this match day, as some are expecting easy wins, and others have hard away games. There are some crucial games for the sides fighting the drop, and every game in the Premier League is vital.
Arsenal v Swansea – Saturday 3:00pm
It’s a big game for Arsenal, this. Sure, at the beginning of the season, they would of seen this as 3 points without fail. Although after a shaky start to say the least, this is a must win to get their season going in the right direction. Losing to Liverpool and Manchester United isn’t what they needed after losing their best two players. They have made new signings and they have to fit in straight away, as this club demands Champions League football every year, and there in for a tough long season. Their opponents are Swansea, who are currently favourites to finish bottom of the pile come May. They have picked up 2 points, 2 goal less draws at home, whilst losing away at Manchester City too. No goals will be a huge problem for them. Arsenal are strong favourites for this one, as you imagine, but not certainties, as they are 4/11. A draw is 7/2 and an unlikely away victory is 8/1. For this scenario, I cannot see Arsenal dropping points. Sometimes I have visions, and I believe Swansea will take the lead, only for Arsenal to peg them back.
Correct Score; Arsenal 3-1 Swansea First Goal Scorer; Theo Walcott for Arsenal (6/1)
Special; Stephen Dobbie (Swansea) to score first, Arsenal to win 3-1 (150/1)
Everton v Aston Villa – Saturday 3:00pm
Not sure what to expect from Everton here. They lost at QPR at home first game of the season, then won at Blackburn. They have made a couple of loan signings, but sold some strikers and of course play maker Mikel Arteta. It is worrying times for Everton, who usually are in the top 7, but they are falling away from the top it seems. Aston Villa on the other hand, has started brightly this season. Undefeated in three games, although two lacklustre 0-0’s. Still, can’t complain with 5 points from opening three games and looking tough to beat, especially after you lose your key wingers in the summer. The games in between these two are usually entertaining and go either way. Having said that, Everton haven’t won in the last 6 fixtures between the two sides, but are favourites with this (Evens) as Aston Villa are 14/5, with a draw at 23/10. I think this game will be close, but I have to go with what my gut says, and that is a home victory.
Correct Score; Everton 1-0 Aston Villa First Goal Scorer ; Leon Osman for Everton (12/1)
Special; Everton to win with 2 or fewer goals scored in the match (3/1)
Manchester City v Wigan – Saturday 3:00pm
Manchester City looks like potential champions it has to be said. They look like giving Manchester United the toughest time of retaining their title. Manchester City dropped silly points at home last season, because they usually stalled against sides that were hard to break down. When teams set up against them, then the game would often finish 0-0 last season. However, it seems they are far more attacking this time around, and with players like Silva, Tevez and Aguero looking to start tomorrow, how can they not score? Wigan are unpredictable in this league. One week they’ll beat Arsenal or Chelsea, the next they’ll lose a game they were expecting to win. Manchester City are overwhelming favourites at 1/6, with Wigan remarkably at 16/1, and I don’t recall seeing odds like that in the past, for any Premier League encounter. My money is on the home side, and i’ll fall of my chair in disbelief if Wigan gets anything from this.
Correct Score; Manchester City 5-0 Wigan (20/1) First Goal scorer; Edin Dzeko for Man City (3/1)
Special; Carlos Tevez, Edin Dzeko and Sergio Aguero all to score in the match (7/2)
Stoke v Liverpool – 3:00pm Saturday
Stoke are an improving side, year after year. Last season they finished in a strong position, and were runners up in the FA Cup. This season, they hope to improve once again, and have a strong squad at their disposal and signed Crouch and Palacios for more quality. They are a tough team to beat, and proved that by being undefeated so far this season. Liverpool have showed a lot of promise so far, and sit 3rd in the table on merit. They have a striker in Luis Suarez who has unbelievable quality. The general team is looking good, and under King Kenny they will have big ambitions. Liverpool have struggled travelling to Stoke though, having not won there since Stoke were promoted to the Premier League. Liverpool are 6/5 for this one, and I believe that is quite kind to punters. Stoke are 12/5 to win, but I’d go for an away win here. They are a due a win at Stoke, and this will send a statement to the Manchester clubs indeed.
Correct Score; Stoke 0-1 Liverpool (6/1) First Goal Scorer; Luis Suarez for Liverpool (4/1)
Special; There to be 0-1 goals in the match (7/4)
Sunderland v Chelsea – 3:00pm Saturday
Sunderland were promising when they walked away from Anfield with a draw. Since then, they have had some disappointing performances, by losing to Newcastle and drawing at Swansea. Still, without a win under their belts, and it’s probably not the right time to face someone they have a terrible record against. Chelsea have won 11 out of the last 12 of these meetings. You remember the odd one out, as Sunderland beat Chelsea 3-0 last season at Stamford Bridge, when Chelsea were on a huge bad patch. Chelsea, this season, can’t afford any bad spells throughout the season, as others are gaining momentum. Chelsea haven’t impressed so far, although have taken 7 points from 9, and points is all that matters. There next two games are this one and a trip to Old Trafford next week. This game is therefore vital, and one they should be winning. Sunderland are 4/1 for this one, as Chelsea are 7/10. I haven’t been impressed with Chelsea, so they will either prove me wrong and win this comfortably, or prove me right and drop 2 points in this match. Hmmm.
Correct Score; Sunderland 0-3 Chelsea (11/1) First Goal Scorer; Anelka for Chelsea (11/2)
Special; Sunderland to be leading at half time, but the match finishes in a draw (14/1)
Wolves v Tottenham – 3:00pm Saturday
Wolves have had a brilliant start to their season. They have reached 7 points in their first 3 games and it’s only September. Last season they had to wait until November to get to this point. They have beaten Blackburn and Fulham, whilst earning a draw at Aston Villa too. Their opponents have had opposite fortune, as they sit rock bottom of the Premier League. Their first game was off due to the riots, then they had been beaten badly by Manchester United and Manchester City, shipping in 8 goals. It’s a bad start, but they can recover, and with their squad they are hoping to reach those Champions League positions again. Despite league standings, and home advantage, the odds on favourite for this match is Tottenham at 7/5, whilst Wolves are 15/8. It was a 3-3 draw last time around, and the year before that Wolves won. It’s going to be tough, but I think Tottenham will get the 3 points in the bag.
Correct Score; Wolves 1-2 Tottenham (7/1) First Goal Scorer; Adebayor for Tottenham (5/1)
Special; Tottenham to come from behind and win (10/1)
Bolton v Manchester United – 5:30pm Saturday
Bolton have had a hard fixture list so far this season, and may that continue as they play current Premier League leaders, and of course, champions. Bolton have lost to Manchester City and Liverpool in their last two games, but must think they are due some result against a top side. Manchester United have been in impeccable form, winning every game since they were dominated by Barcelona in the Champions League final. There last match saw them beat rivals Arsenal 8-2 at Old Trafford. Games between these two sides are usually close, especially at the Reebok Stadium. Last season it was 2-2, with Bolton leading twice in the game. Manchester United were slightly fortunate to get a point as Michael Owen scored a late equaliser. Bolton are 7/1 to win this match, so quite considerate outsiders. Manchester United are 2/5 and if they continue their run of form, they shouldn’t have too much problem with this Bolton side, big ‘if’ though as their away form is not as prolific as they home form.
Correct Score; Bolton 1-3 Manchester United (10/1) First Goal Scorer; Nani for Man Utd (8/1)
Special; There to be 5 goals or more in this match (7/2)
Norwich v West Brom – 1:30pm Sunday
This appears to be a crucial game as both may be fighting relegation this season. Norwich have picked up 2 points from their first 3 games, including a gutsy performance against Chelsea last time out. West Brom couldn’t of wished for a more difficult start, losing to both Manchester United and Chelsea in their first two games. They have since lost to Stoke, so they remain 18th in the table with 0 points. Norwich are slight favourites for this one at 6/5 whilst West Brom are 9/5. This is a fixture which is hard to choose a result, let alone a correct score. Norwich were good in their home match against Stoke, and were unlucky not to win. West Brom will need to perform for them to win is just unlikely, so I’ll have to go with my gut.
Correct Score; Norwich 0-0 West Brom (10/1) First Goal Scorer; Shane Long for West Brom (10/1)
Special; First goal to be scored from 80th minute to end of the match (20/1)
Fulham v Blackburn – 4:00pm Sunday
Both of these sides had hoped for stronger starts, especially for the away side as they come into this game with 0 points. Fulham have lost both away games, and only got a draw with their sole home game. They are usually formidable at home, and are favourites for this one at 8/11. Blackburn need to start picking up points, and quick. They lost at home to Wolves, followed by an away defeat at Aston Villa, and then another home defeat to Everton, so all games were not particularly too difficult. They will face a hard task of staying up if they continue to lose games, when they should be getting at least a point from. This is a tricky game for them and the bookmakers don’t give them much hope as they are 9/2 to win this match. Blackburn did win here a few years ago, and will hope for a repeat. I can’t look past Fulham for this match though, not many sides get wins here, and I think Fulham will edge it.
Correct Score; Fulham 1-0 Blackburn (6/1) First Goal Scorer; Bobby Zamora for Fulham (4/1)
Special; Blackburn to score 4 goals or more in this match (100/1)
QPR v Newcastle – 8:00pm Monday
QPR signed more players than anyone else in the transfer window, so they are fully prepared to keep their position in the Premier League. There most notable signing is Joey Barton, who was obviously signed from Newcastle who they face on this Monday night. So far QPR have been inconsistent in the Premier League, losing a game they had a decent chance in, then winning a game some pundits gave them no chance in, and then losing again. Newcastle have had a strong start to the season, earning 7 points from their first 3 games. A home draw with Arsenal followed by the Tyneside derby win, and then winning at home to Fulham, as they remain undefeated. QPR are 11/8 to win this match, with Newcastle priced at 2/1, so expect it to be a close match. I personally think the win will go to QPR in this one, as their fans, manager and players with be very much up for it.
Correct Score; QPR 2-0 Newcastle (10/1) First Goal Scorer; Joey Barton for QPR (10/1)
Special; QPR to win with 2 or fewer goals scored in the match (10/3)

Big Money, Little Chance – Top 3 Ways To Win Huge on Football Betting
We all have different opinions on betting on football. Some of us are risky, whilst others like to bet on certainties. Here is the list of the best 3 ways on how to treat football betting like the lottery. The lottery is pure luck, with football you hope to have some sort of knowledge to help you. Anything can happen in football, some crazy results or crazy things have happened time and time again and I am always left thinking 'Why Didn't I bet on that?'. You can bet as little as £0.10 on some websites, and win hundreds of thousands so it's not as if you are wasting a lot of money. The following three ways are key betting strategy's on how to win massive from so little.
3. Long Shot Score Casts
Score Casts are very popular in current betting. This particular bet is more popular on matches which are being shown on television, so people like to bet on and see if their predicted outcome comes true. Score cast is a combination of the first goal scorer and the correct score. Both of those odds are accumulated together to make much larger odds and therefore a much bigger profit win. This is 3rd in the least because simply you cannot win thousands on this unless you bet at least £10. Score Cast's usually range from 20/1 to 80/1 on possible happenings. However, betting on 'Long Shot' ones, it can be anywhere from 200/1 to 350/1, or even higher. Betting £0.10 (which is literally nothing) can win you like £20 or more. Betting £1.00 can get you £200 or more. If you feel really lucky, then betting £5 will get you in the thousands. The common score cast bet is to bet on a key striker to score, and then the result you think. For example, Wayne Rooney to score first, Manchester United to beat Newcastle 3-0. That is roughly about 36/1, which isn't the best odds. To do a 'Long Shot' score casts you need to think outside the box. Odds of a match which has at least 5 goals in will improve the odds, and betting on a defender to score first too. Here is an example, Nemanja Vidic to score first, and Manchester United to beat Newcastle 4-2, which will be around 200/1 to. These don't look likely true, but if you think it about, it's actually more common than you think. Another way of improving the odds, is if you do a game where both team scores, make sure the scorer is on the losing side. For example, Steven Gerrard to score first, Chelsea to win 3-1.
Closest I have come: I bet on Blackpool v Manchester United in February 2011. I bet on Craig Cathcart (former Man United player) to score first and Manchester United to win 3-1. Craig Cathcart did in fact score first, but unfortunately it finished 3-2, I couldn't believe how close I came. The odds of that was 275/1.

2. Crazy Accumulators
We all love accumulators. It seems so easy to choose so many matches to have the right outcome. However, it isn't that easy. A lot of people I know bet on 5 matches, with all them being favourites and perhaps that is the most sensible option. If you want to win thousands, then be risky. Choose a favourite to lose, choose a few draws and the odds will improve immensely. For this coming weekend, betting on Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool will give you odds of around 8/1. It is actually quite rare for them all to win on the same weekend, so spice it up a bit. I have now changed the bet so Manchester United and Chelsea draw, and Liverpool lose. That will give you odds 88/1, which looks a lot better! That's one way of betting on crazy accumulators, by betting against the favourites. However, sometimes it's better to a lot of matches, like 10 or 11, or betting on several draws. There are many games across England on Saturday, pick 7 matches where you can't pick a winner. Put draws on them and the odds will be around 6500/1, which is great! You can actually win £1000000 by accumulators, even by betting £0.10. Choose about 16 matches, with most of them being draws or unlikely. If you want to change your life for ever, then why not bet £0.10 a week which is nothing. Don't forget that anything can happen in football, so make the most of this fact.
Closest I have come: I don't usually get close with these I am afraid, especially when the odd's are in the thousands. However, I was one game off betting on 5 Premier League draws once, and a last minute goal had cost me. The odds were about 1000/1 but I had just put £0.40 on it, so was moment away from £400.

1. Accumulative Correct Scores
Betting on a correct score is unlikely in my opinion, but betting on 5 or 6 is something else! However, I am amazed at the odds of accumulative correct scores. Putting £0.10 on 6 correct scores will win you at least £40,000 which is incredible (at least!!). If you put £0.10 on 6 correct scores, with a few longer odds like 3-2 or 4-1 then it quickly rises and you can win £1,000,000 from betting on this with as little as £0.10. If you are willing to bet £5.00 each week on this, then here is another tip. If you choose to bet this amount, that gives you 50 different lists to bet on. I'd choose the same 6 games, and bet on 50 different outcome of results. It will improve your chances of winning, and you could win anything from £40,000 to £1,000,000. You could do the same technique and spend £10 as that will double the chance too. Obviously, this tip is for people who bet online, and Ladbrokes in particular is a website that makes this sort of betting easy to do. Betting on 2 scores is about 70/1, 3 scores is 600/1 and 4 scores is 4,000/1 to so there is a lot of big money to be won on this particular betting strategy. You could bet on every Premier League game of a weekend, and that means 10 matches, which will 100% give you winnings of £1,000,000. So if you feel lucky, start doing it now and change your life!
Closest I have come: I have bet on 4 scores before, getting 3 of them correct. The first result I got wrong, and then went on to get the following 3 right, it was close and I only bet £0.10 on the 4 international games. The odds were around 5500/1 so I would have won around £550 from £0.10.

Hope this article has been interesting, and good luck if you try any other these betting tips and strategy's!
England v Wales – Betting Tips
Betting on England v Wales...
England are nearly home and draw. They have put themselves in a comfortable position to qualify for the European Championships next summer. An impressive 3-0 victory against Bulgaria on Friday night has put them in a position they can't throw away now. They lead Montenegro by 3 points, with two games to go, with a much better goal difference although the two sides do meet in the last game of the campaign. I was right with most predictions I made for that game, but hoping for more success here!
Match Betting
When these two teams played last two, England pretty much won the game in the first 20 minutes, as goals from Lampard and Bent gave England a brilliant start. The match finished 2-0, but England were in no danger of losing their lead. Wales didn't have Gareth Bale for that much, and he is the star man of this team, and will be in action on Tuesday night. England are 1/7 to win this match, therefore strong favourites indeed. Wales are 7/1 to get a draw or 14/1 to win. Wales look a different animal after beating Montenegro last Friday, however I still believe they won't have enough for England. Bet on England if you want to win some money although not a lot. If you fancy winning big money, a draw is the best option.
My Recommendation; Home Win (1/7)
First Goal Scorer
I picked Wayne Rooney for the Bulgaria match, and despite scoring two, he didn't score the first one. I don't like betting on the same person twice so I am going to go for another player who constantly is a goal threat, whoever he plays for. Wayne Rooney is 5/2, a strong favourite but I am going to go for Ashley Young, as his odds are slightly larger.
My Recommendation; Ashley Young (5/1)
Goal Crazy
For some reason, I reckon there will be goals in this one, either because the odds look the best or that I reckon both teams will go into the match with an attacking approach. It's 6/5 for there to be 4 or more goals, and I reckon England are capable of scoring that much by themselves. Betting on there to be 0-1 goals is 9/2, so if you think the opposite to me, go for that as the odds look valuable there.
My Recommendation; 4+ Goals (6/5)
One more for Luck
Gareth Bale to score first, but England win 3-1 (250/1)
My Accumulator Pick
Austria v Turkey (Away Win)
Romania v France (Away Win)
Poland v Germany (Away Win)
Denmark v Norway (Draw)
£5 wins £110
Good luck in all the bets tomorrow!

Bulgaria v England – Betting Tips
Betting on Bulgaria v England...
Crucial qualifier for England, as a win would be one giant step to qualification for the European Championships next summer. As for Bulgaria, they are playing for pride more than anything as they chances of qualifying looks incredibly bleak. These sides met last September in the first game of the qualification and that match finished 4-0 at Wembley, a comfortable win for the home side. All away matches are trickier though, and England will have to perform better than they did in their last game to get a result here.
Match Betting
Bulgaria are not given much chance looking at the odds, as they are priced at 5/1 to win on home soil. England are strong favourites at 8/15, as a draw is at 11/4. The most profitable outcome would be a draw because England may struggle in this match, and Bulgaria may set out to play for the draw. However, England's qualifying record under Fabio Capello is terrific, and they are better away from home than in front of their own fans. The only time England have lost on their travels under Capello in a qualifying campaign was they lost to Ukraine 1-0, when they had already qualified.
My Recommendation; Away Win (8/15)
First Goal Scorer
A tough one to choose, because the team line up is yet to be officially predicted. One thing is for certain though, and that is that Wayne Rooney will be starting and he is in goal scoring form, as he has hit the back of the bet 5 times in his opening 3 games for Manchester United. Rooney is 7/2 to score first. Darren Bent is at 9/2 and Andy Carrol is at 5/1, but not sure which one or if any of them will be starting. Frank Lampard is 7/1, and one to consider as he is penalty taker for England.
My Recommendation; Wayne Rooney (7/2)
Goal Crazy
This is where you bet on the amount of goals are scored by one team, or in the whole match. Today I am going to choose just the away side here and I reckon that there will be few goals scored in this one. England are 13/2 to score 4 or more goals, so if you feel your luck is in, go for that one. However, 0-1 and 2-3 are both Evens, but I am in optimistic mood so I'd recommend the latter.
My Recommendation; England to Score 2-3 Goals (Evens)
One more for luck!
England to be drawing at half time but winning at full time (7/2)
Good luck tonight, and I hope for a good entertaining game, and remember, anything can happen in football!
