Betting on Champions League Key Clashes - Tuesday 27th

Match day one of the Champions League had many intriguing games, and also some shocks along the way. Here we are into match day two, and on this Tuesday night we'll witness some fascinating games. Here are the betting tips for the key clashes happening tonight!

Bayern Munich v Manchester City - 7:45pm

Bayern Munich and Manchester City both have high hopes for this competition this early, and both think that they have the potential to win it. Bayern won their first game of the group, winning away at Villarreal. City drew to Napoli at home, which was a slight disappointment. This match will be an intriguing affair, and the highlight of tonight. Bayern are 8/11 at home have started brilliantly to this season. Manchester City are 2nd in the Premier League, after a excellent start to the season, and they are 4/1 to win tonight. Due to Champions League experience however, I believe Bayern Munich will pick up the points in this one.

Correct Score; 3-1 (16/1)      First Goal Scorer; Mario Gomez for Bayern Munich (4/1)
Special; There to be 4 or more goals scored in this match (21/10)

Manchester United v FC Basel - 7:45pm

United are overwhelming favourites for this clash, despite having 8 players injured. They will missing strikers Rooney and Hernandez, so Berbatov and Owen are likely to replace them. The last time these two teams played was back in 2003, when United had won both of the matches, against a side who knocked out Liverpool earlier on in the competition. Basel sit on top of the group after their win, as United drew away to Benfica. Manchester United are 1/5 to win this match, as Basel are 14/1 to get a win here. A draw is 11/2, but realistically you should be safe and go for a home win. United very rarely lose at home in any competition.

Correct Score; 3-0 (7/1)     First Goal Scorer; Park ji Sung for Manchester United (10/1)
Special; Basel to lead at half time, United to win at full time (28/1)

Real Madrid v Ajax - 7:45pm

Real Madrid have had a slighty strange season so far. Their performances against Barcelona, showed how good they really are, but have struggled in some games of La Liga, including a defeat to Levante. Ajax started their Champions League campaign with a home draw against Lyon. Madrid will be favourites to qualify first from the group, so Ajax and Lyon will be fighting for second place. Real Madrid are 2/9 to win tonight, although I don't expect it to be that easy, whilst Ajax are 14/1 to win this match. Real Madrid to win for me.

Correct Score; 2-0 (7/1)    First Goal Scorer; Benzema for Real Madrid (7/2)
Special; Real Madrid to win with 3 or more goals scored in the match (2/5)
