Saturday Premier League Football – Betting Tips

Saturday Premier League Football - 21st January

It's a great weekend of Premier League football. Sunday is what they call a 'grand slam Sunday', but in this article, I will give you the best betting tips for the matches which happen on Saturday.  Crucial matches at the bottom of the table, and for those hoping to get Champions League places. Here are my tips for Saturday's matches;

Key Matches

Norwich v Chelsea - 12:45pm
Chelsea have won back to back games now, and on the surge to get a top four position at least this season. Norwich are in dreamland, as they sit in the top half of the table, and look to be remaining in the Premier League for next season, unless their form drops rapidly from now till May. When these two last met, Norwich were close to causing an upset at Stamford Bridge, but Chelsea won the match 3-1. Chelsea are 6/10 to win with Norwich at 5/1. I'd go for a draw in this once, and that's at 13/5.

My Recommendations:
Draw (13/5) - First Goal Scorer: Juan Mata (11/2)
Correct Score; 1-1 (7/1)

Bolton v Liverpool - 5:30pm
Bolton are 2nd from bottom and will be desperate to get the crucial points here. However, they are facing a side stronger away from home than at Anfield, as Liverpool are now a disappointing 7th in the league. Their main problem has been dropping points to lower teams, so will be desperate to get the win here. Bolton are 9/2 to win here, with Liverpool at 4/6. Liverpool win for me.

My Recommendations:
Liverpool (4/6) - First Goal Scorer; Steven Gerrard (5/1)
Correct Score; 1-3 (12/1)

Specials - Other 6 Matches - All at 3:00pm

Everton v Blackburn - Special: Everton winning at Half Time/Full Time - (5/4)
Fulham v Newcastle - Special: There to be 4+ goals (23/10)
QPR v Wigan - Special: Wigan to be winning after 30minutes (4/1)
Stoke v West Brom - Special: Stoke to score first and last (11/8)
Sunderland v Swansea - Special: There to be 0-1 goals in the match (2/1)
Wolves v Aston Villa -  Special: Aston Villa to win; Draw no bet (10/11)

El Clasico – Copa Del Rey 1st Leg Betting Tips

El Clasico - Copa Del Rey 1st Leg Betting Tips

It's the fourth time this season, 9th in since August 2010, but Real Madrid and Barcelona are to go head to head again. Barcelona have won four of the 9, Real Madrid have won the one, so bare that in mind when betting on this match. Here are my usual tips for this important match, the whole world will be watching.

Match Betting

This match could not be closer as the odds suggest. Real Madrid are 9/5 to win tonight, whilst Barcelona are 6/4. Let's not forget that this is only the first leg, and with it being at the Bernabeu, Barcelona would probably take the draw, giving them home advantage in the second leg. We all know these matches can be unpredictable, and with it being a cup, we are not 100% with the teams. I think that Real Madrid will win this one tonight, as Barcelona have been leaking more goals lately, and Real Madrid seem to win game after game, and they are due a home win against their rivals, since they haven't won in this fixture since 2008.

My Recommendation; Real Madrid win (9/5)

First Goal Scorer

I personally think this will be a low scoring match, and maybe just one goal will win it from a set piece. With the amount of talent on show, that may seem silly, but one goal from a Real Madrid defender will win this match, but this is just a hunch. Messi and Ronaldo are 7/2, Iniesta is 16/1. However, I'm going for Sergio Ramos.

My Recommendation; Sergio Ramos (33/1)

Correct Score

As mentioned in the section above, I don't think that there will be many goals, I think it could easily be 1-0 to either side. Having said that, with the amount of quality, and the fact that it's only a Copa Del Rey, they maybe goals goals and more goals in this one. 3-2 to Real Madrid is 20/1 or 2-4 to Barcelona is 40/1. Anything can happen in this matches, so make the most of it, have a few guesses and hopefully you can pull a great bet off.

My Recommendation; Real Madrid 1-0 (8/1)

To Qualify

This is who will win other both legs. Real Madrid are11/8 to progress, with Barcelona favourites at 8/15. It's going to be close, but with Real Madrid winning the final last year, Mourinho may be hoping to focus on the league even more. The second leg at Camp Nou is another boost for Barcelona, so I will go for them with this one.

My Recommendation; Barcelona to Qualify (8/15)

Specials;
Barcelona to win at half time, but lose at full time (22/1)
Lionel Messi to score at any time (10/11)
Ronaldo to score a hat trick (16/1)
There to be 0-1 goals in this match (3/1)
Result after 75minutes (7/4)

Good luck betting, and we all hope for a classic El Clasico!

FA Cup 3rd Round – Betting Tips!

FA Cup 3rd Round - Betting Tips!

We have learned that anything can happen in football, as so many shock results has happened in the last two weeks. From my experience of watching the FA Cup each year, there is plenty more shocks in this competition, so here are my betting tips, but make the most of this opportunity because long shot lists are definitely possible.

Bad Weekend for Liverpool Clubs?

Not saying this will happen, but if you put £5 on Everton and Liverpool to beat Tamworth and Oldham respectively, both at home, then you will get £6.19 back. Anything can happen in the FA Cup.  If you bet on Liverpool and Everton both to draw you can get £382. If you bet on them both to lose, you can get, from £5, £1785. You never know, FA Cup has it's magic. My tip would be on one of them to slip up. Worth a punt.

Premier League Teams to lose to lower opposition?

Fulham host Charlton, and the hosts have a history of losing early matches to minnows. It's a London derby and wouldn't surprise me if Charlton got the win here. It's only 6/1, so I don't think the odds are too kind, but that would be my tip. Macclesfield to beat Bolton is at 4/1, MK Dons to beat QPR (Warnock has said he doesn't care too much about cup competitions) is at 13/8. Burnley to win at Norwich is 3/1, and the visitors are capable of causing a few upsets. Tottenham to lose to Cheltenham is at 16/1, but a more likely draw is at 15/2. Bristol Rovers host Aston Villa, and are 5/1 to get the win or 3/1 to get the draw. I'm not exactly giving tips here, but I'd say bet on a few Premier League teams to lose, because weakened sides do play, and FA Cup has many cupsets.

Manchester City v Manchester United

It's the biggest clash of the round, and it couldn't be much bigger. Current 1st and 2nd, current holders of FA Cup and Premier League, and of course it's a Manchester derby. So much has happened between the two sides of late, and can't wait for them to have a go at each other one more time. Manchester City are 11/10 making them slights favourites as Manchester United are 5/2. If it's a draw, then it will be a replay, which they may not want in their busy fixture list. Manchester United have lost their last two, but I am going for them in this encounter.

Other Action?

The 2010 FA Cup final repeat, as Portsmouth travel to Chelsea. Chelsea are overwhelming favourites at 1/6, and AVB will play his best team so I don't expect an upset there. Arsenal host Leeds in a repeat from last year's 3rd round. In that match, Arsenal were one minute away from losing so the cupset is very much possible. Leeds are 9/1 to get the win, with Arsenal at 2/7.

Turn £1 to £1,000,000

Birmingham v Wolves (Away Win)
Barnsley v Swansea (Home Win)
Fulham v Charlton (Draw)
Newcastle v Blackburn (Away Win)
Norwich v Burnley (Away Win)
Swindon v Wigan (Away Win)
Tottenham v Cheltenham (Draw)
Sheffield Wednesday v West Ham (Home Win)
Peterborough v  Sunderland (Home Win)
Arsenal v Leeds (Draw)

It can happen surely?

Final Premier League Matches of 2011 – Betting Tips

Final Premier League Matches of 2011 - Betting Tips

December 30th - 31st

The football just keeps on coming to us lucky lot, and there is another match day across the New Year period, with 8 of them coming in the final days of 2011. Some vital clashes, as top faces bottom and we start with the classic Premier League match of Liverpool against Newcastle. Here are my betting predictions!

Liverpool v Newcastle (Friday 7:45pm)

This match has always been good down the years of Premier League history, including the classic 4-3 back in 1996. In recent years though, Liverpool have won this fixture comfortably, and will be hoping for the same as they draw at home to Blackburn on Boxing Day, whereas Newcastle got back to winning ways with a win against Bolton. Liverpool 4/7 favourites to win, with Newcastle at 5/1. Suarez is missing so may be hard for the hosts, but I expect them to triumph with Carroll getting a goal against his former club.

Correct Score; 2-1 (8/1)      First Goal Scorer; Demba Ba for Newcastle (8/1)
Special; Newcastle winning at half time, Liverpool winning at full time (22/1)

Manchester United v Blackburn (Saturday 12:45pm)

Manchester United were brilliant at the start of the season, but had a bit of slump including their 6-1 defeat to Manchester City and their elimination from the Champions League. However, it looks like they are finding their top form once again, and are now joint top of the table and have won their last two matches 5-0. Blackburn are the side most struggling in the Premier League, but come into this match with a hard earned point at Anfield, so there will be more confidence in the camp. This result was 7-1 to the home side last season. Manchester United are 1/7 though, and I would back them to get victory here. Blackburn are 16/1 to win.

Correct Score; 4-0 (9/1)     First Goal Scorer; Wayne Rooney for Manchester United (9/4)
Special; Manchester United to win with or 2 or less goals in the match (10/3)

Chelsea v Aston Villa (Saturday 3:00pm)

Chelsea have drawn their last 3 matches and therefore dropped 6 points, but stay in fourth due to the fact that Arsenal and Liverpool have dropped points too, but Tottenham are getting further away. Aston Villa are struggling to keep a bit of form up as they only seem to pick up points now and then, but just drew at Stoke 0-0, so they may aim to stop Chelsea in the next match. Chelsea won't want to draw a fourth game in a row, and the odds of that is 4/1, with them at 2/7 to win. Chelsea are due a win, so back them here. Aston Villa are at 10/1.

Correct Score; 2-0 (6/1)     First Goal Scorer; Didier Drogba for Chelsea (3/1)
Special; Handicap - Aston Villa +2 (5/6)

Accumulator Tip!

Arsenal v QPR (Home Win)
Bolton v Wolves (Home Win)
Norwich v Fulham (Draw)
Stoke v Wigan (Home Win)
Swansea v Tottenham (Away Win)

Stake: £5    Potential Winnings: £124.51

Boxing Day Football – Betting Tips

December 26th - Football betting tips

Nothing beats football on Boxing Day, and we have 7 festive matches which some crucial matches at both ends of the table. Here are my predictions and as usual, an accumulator tip!

Chelsea v Fulham - 1:00pm

The West London derby kicks off the day, as Fulham go to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea. Fulham lost 5-0 to Manchester United in their most recent game, and were beyond terrible for most of the match. Chelsea have drawn their last two matches, and find themselves 11 points below Manchester City, yet still think they can win the league. Fulham are 10/1 to win, with Chelsea at 1/3. Chelsea should win this  comfortably.

Correct Score; 2-0 (5/1)     First Goal Scorer; Didier Drogba for Chelsea (3/1)
Special; Result after 60 minutes - Draw (15/8)

Liverpool v Blackburn - 3:00pm

Blackburn and manager Steve Kean are under tremendous amount of pressure and it's not going to get easier for the team as they travel to Anfield and Old Trafford in the next week. Liverpool have struggled against lower opposition some times this season, so will need to make sure they wrap up points against a team with such low confidence. Liverpool are 2/7 to get the win, with Blackburn at 10/1, with a draw at 4/1. Should be simple, home win.

Correct Score; 3-0 (7/1)     First Goal Scorer; Craig Bellamy for Liverpool (9/2)
Special; Handicap - Blackburn +2 (EVENS)

West Brom v Manchester City - 3:00pm

West Brom have produced back to back away wins, but now need to improve their home form as they face the top side in the Premier League, Manchester City this Boxing Day. Manchester City have bounced back well since their defeat, and look tight at the back, and have so many players that can hurt the opposition. Over the next two games, Manchester City have tougher fixtures over the Christmas period, so it's important to stay on top going into the new year. Manchester City are 4/9 to win with West Brom at 13/2. I can't see this Manchester City side dropping points.

Correct Score; 1-4 (22/1)      First Goal Scorer; Mario Balotelli for Manchester City (3/1)
Special; West Brom to be winning at half time, Manchester City to win at full time (28/1)

 Accumulator Tip

Bolton v Newcastle (Home Win)
Manchester United v Wigan (Home Win)
Sunderland v Everton (Home Win)
Stoke v Aston Villa (Draw)

Stake: £5      Potential Winnings: £105.00

Thanks for reading, and have a good Christmas!

Premier League Betting Tips – Wednesday 21st

Premier League Betting Tips - Wednesday 21st

This Christmas football period is in full swing and on this Wednesday we have 7 matches to bet on! A lot of good matches are on show and as per usual, here are my betting tips, on the key clashes and then an accumulator tip for the other 4 matches!

Aston Villa v Arsenal - 7:45pm
In recent weeks both Manchester United and Liverpool have come to Villa Park, scored fairly early goals in cruised to victory, and Arsenal will be hoping for the same. Aston Villa have been disappointing of late, especially going forward. Arsenal have been in superb form of late, but lost last week at Manchester City, albeit played a good game and could of come away with a point.  Aston Villa are 4/1 to get the victory with Arsenal at 8/11 and a draw is at 5/2. I think Arsenal will win this one.

Correct Score; 0-3 (18/1)      First Goal Scorer; Robin Van Persie for Arsenal (3/1)
Special; Result after 15 minutes - Arsenal winning (4/1)

Fulham v Manchester United - 8:00pm
Manchester United have been back to their best in the last two games, scoring 6 goals and earning 6 points to put pressure on rivals Manchester City. Fulham have been far better at home this season, than away and will give Manchester United a hard game like they have done in the three recent seasons. The last three scores in this fixture have been good for Fulham, as they won 2-0, then 3-0, and last season it was 2-2.  Fulham are 4/1 to win this match, with Manchester United at 8/11. These odds are actually the same as the game above, and I'd go for the same result, away win.

Correct Score; 1-3 (10/1)      First Goal Scorer; Javier Hernandez for Manchester United (7/2)
Special; Drawing at half time, Manchester United win at full time (7/2)

Wigan v Liverpool - 8:00pm
Wigan got a late goal to earn themselves a point against Chelsea last Saturday, and the confidence from that fixture will give them some hope going into this match against Liverpool. The visitors have been in form of late, but have dropped points when they haven't taken their chances. Luis Suarez plays this match, before being banned for 8 matches, so I'd tip him to score. Wigan are 6/1, with Liverpool at 1/2. Away win for me.

Correct Score; 0-2 (6/1)     First Goal Scorer; Luis Suarez for Liverpool (7/2)
Special; Suarez to get a hat-trick (20/1)

Accumulator Tip!

Manchester City v Stoke (Home Win)
QPR v Sunderland (Draw)
Everton v Swansea (Draw)
Newcastle v West Brom (Away Win)

Stake: £5     Potential Winnings: £290.40

Premier League Super Sunday – Betting Tips

Premier League Super Sunday - Betting Tips (17th December)

Sky sports are showing three back to back matches on Sunday, going on from midday to 6:00pm. Like most football fans in the country, I will be sitting on my sofa all day watching each game and hope for fantastic entertainment. The Christmas period of football is kicking off this weekend, and we have a treat in store for us on Sunday. Fancy some betting tips? Here are mine for this Sunday.

QPR v Manchester United - 12:00pm
QPR will be up for it against this Manchester United side, as it's these sort of games which is why QPR were so desperate to be back in this league. Manchester United got back to winning ways against Wolves last week, and if they win here then they would at least temporarily, top of the table, mounting the pressure on Manchester City. QPR are 6/1 to get a win here, or 3/1 to get a draw. An away win is priced at 1/2. I would go for an away win in this one.

Correct Score; 0-2 (11/2)      First Goal Scorer;  Danny Wellbeck for Manchester United (9/2)
Special; There to be 4+ goals (6/4)

Aston Villa v Liverpool - 2:05pm
Another mouth watering match to look forward to. Aston Villa need to improve on their home performances, and the way they attack. Liverpool will know it will be hard to break down Aston Villa's defence, but then will need to convert their chances they so often miss. They'll need a win here, to keep in touch with the top 5. Aston Villa are 3/1 to win, with Liverpool at 19/20. A draw is at 23/10. Personally, I can see Liverpool winning  this one.

Correct Score; 1-2 (8/1)     First Goal Scorer; Luis Suarez for Liverpool (4/1)
Special; To come from behind and win - Liverpool (10/1)

Manchester City v Arsenal - 4:10pm
Manchester City may be 2nd when they play this match, and will want to bounce back from their defeat against Chelsea too, so the pressure may be on them, as they face the in form side of Arsenal. The visitors have dropped 2 points in their last 8 matches, and getting closer to the top 4 each week. Arsenal won here 3-0 last season, with Nasri on the score sheet for the Gunners. . Manchester City are favourites for this one, as they are 4/6 to win. Arsenal are 4/1 to get the victory here with a draw priced at 11/4. I reckon this will be a draw.

Correct Score; 1-1 (7/1)       First Goal Scorer; Sergio Aguero for Manchester City (4/1)
Special; Result after 60 minutes to be a draw (13/8)

Obviously Saturday comes first, so here is my accumulator tip for Saturday!

Blackburn v West Brom (Draw)
Everton v Norwich (Home Win)
Fulham v Bolton (Home Win)
Newcastle v Swansea (Home Win)
Wolves v Stoke City (Away Win)
Wigan v Chelsea (Away Win)

Stake: £5      Potential Winnings: £320

Chelsea v Manchester City – Betting Tips

Another huge game this season, which has significant importance riding on it. It's a Monday night, and what better way than to finish of a Premier League weekend. Last year's 2nd and 3rd, both potential title winners. Chelsea are starting to pick up some form, and Manchester City are the team to beat at the moment, as they top the Premier League table. It's going to be a fascinating match, and here are my betting tips!

Match Betting
Who do you think will take the points in this one? Chelsea are slight favourites to win this match and to end Manchester City's unbeaten start to the season, as they are priced at 7/5. Manchester City are 15/8 to win, so as you can it wil be a close match. A draw is at 23/10, and in my eyes that's good value. It would be some statement if Manchester City were to win at Stamford Bridge, and retain their 5 point lead at the top. In the last month or so, Chelsea have lost 3 times at home, once to Arsenal, and twice to Liverpool, and another defeat here would be shocking for Chelsea's standards who used Stamford Bridge as a fortress in the past. Manchester City have performed well in the past in big games this season, winning 5-1 and Tottenham and 6-1 at Manchester United. Recently they drew 1-1 at Liverpool, and were quite fortunate to get the draw in that one. I'm going for a draw in this one, I'm sitting on the fence.

My Prediction; Draw (23/10)

First Goal Scorer
There are lot of people to choose for in this category as there will be so much attacking quality on the pitch. Sometimes I like to go for defenders to score first in these big games. For example, Liverpool v Manchester City a few weeks ago, when Kompany scored first. In this fixture last season, it was David Luiz who scored first, so bear that in mind.  Sergio Aguero is favourite to score first at 13/2 whilst Didier Drogba is at 7/1. Fernando Torres is also at 7/1, but I don't think he'll be warranting a starting place tonight. Some other ones you may consider, Michar Richards at 33/1, Lescott at 40/1 whilst John Terry is at 28/1 if you feel the goal will be scored by a defender. You can get decent odds if you think Yaya Toure, who has scored now and then this season, as he is 18/1, with Ramires at Chelsea at 20/1.

My Prediction; Drogba for Chelsea (7/1)

Correct Score
As I think this match will be a draw, I will probably favour a all scoring result. A 0-0 is at 14/1 which is great odds, and in big matches, sometimes both teams cancel each other out, although that hasn't happened this season.  1-1 is one of the most likely scores at 6/1. However, all the big matches this season have been brilliant so I am expecting four goals in this one, 2-2.

My Prediction; 2-2 (14/1)

Specials
In this section, I recommend betting on different types of bets likes Goal Crazy, Half Time/Full Time and others. For Manchester City to lead at half time, but lose at full time, is priced at 25/1 which could certainly happen. However, with my prediction of this being a draw, Manchester City lead at half time, but draw at full time is at 14/1 or if both halves are draws, that is at 9/2. I do think there will be goals in this match, so for there to be 4+ goals, the bookmakers have that at 21/10. Chelsea to score 4 goals themselves, is at 9/1 if you're feeling lucky.

My Predictions;
Draw at Half time/Full Time (9/2)
Goals 4+ (21/10)
Chelsea to win with 3 or more goals scored in the match (11/4)

Thank you for reading, and happy betting!

Premier League Saturday – Betting Tips

Saturday 10th December

Premier League Betting Tips!

Crazy week in Europe, but now back to the Premier League, and as per usual, here are my betting predictions.

Arsenal v Everton - 3:00pm
Arsenal went back to winning ways last week against Wigan, and will want to continue in that fashion as all the top teams are in good form at the moment. Everton will want to improve their record against the top sides, by getting a result here. Arsenal are strong favourites at 8/15, with a draw at 11/4 and an away win is at 6/1. I think Everton are capable of getting a draw here, but I am going to go for a close home victory.

Correct Score; 2-1 (7/1)     First Goal Scorer; Mikel Arteta for Arsenal (10/1)
Special; Result after 60 minutes - Draw (13/8)

Bolton v Aston Villa - 3:00pm
Crucial for both teams this match, as Bolton have had a really poor season and find themselves in the relegation places. As for Aston Villa, they had a solid start, but in recent weeks have looked below average in their performances and haven't scored in three matches. Bolton are 6/4 to win, with AstonVilla at 17/10. I think this will be a draw though, at 12/5.

Correct Score; 0-0 (8/1)     First Goal Scorer; Ivan Klasnic for Bolton (11/2)
Special; There to be 0-1 goals in this match (5/2)

Liverpool v QPR - 3:00pm
Liverpool will be disappointed with their loss against Fulham last week, and now behind their rivals in their bid to finish 4th. QPR will have confidence going into this match, as Liverpool failed to beat Norwich, Swansea and Sunderland at Anfield this season. Liverpool are 1/3 to win though, with QPR at 10/1. I'd go for a home win.

Correct Score; 3-0 (6/1)     First Goal Scorer; Luis Suarez for Liverpool (11/4)
Special; Handicap - QPR +1 (11/5)

Manchester United v Wolves - 3:00pm
Manchester United will be devastated by their early exit in the Champions League, and to make things worse Nemanja Vidic has been ruled out for the rest of the season. They will welcome Wolves to Old Trafford on Saturday, and the home side will expect nothing less than a win, you would think. Wolves are 12/1 to win, or 5/1 to get a draw. I'm going for a home win though, and that's priced at 2/9.

Correct Score; 2-0 (6/1)    First Goal Scorer; Danny Wellbeck for Manchester United (4/1)
Special; There to be 4+ goals (11/10)

Norwich v Newcastle - 3:00pm
Newcastle had a hard patch of games, but they will show their character if they return to their better form against lesser sides. Norwich have been a formidable side at home though, so expect this one to be a close one.  Norwich are 11/8 to win, with Newcastle at 19/10. Draw for me, and that's at 23/10.

Correct Score; 1-1 (11/2)    First Goal Scorer; Demba Ba for Newcastle (5/1)
Special; Newcastle winning at half time, drawing at full time (14/1)

Swansea v Fulham - 3:00pm
Fulham have earned 4 points in their last two games, which were against Liverpool and Arsenal, but now need to get results against teams near them in the league. Swansea, have played good football, but need to turn more decent performances into wins. Swansea are 6/4 to win, and Fulham are 9/5. It will be a close match, but I think Fulham will edge it.

Correct Score; 1-2 (10/1)      First Goal Scorer; Bobby Zamora for Fulham (7/1)
Special; Swansea No Bet - Fulham to win (4/6)

West Brom v Wigan - 3:00pm
West Brom's home record is something they can improve on, and will hope for 3 points against Wigan here on Saturday. Wigan have been poor this season, but a win would change so much for them. Wigan are 4/1 to win, with West Brom at 8/11. I think West Brom will get the win here.

Correct Score; 3-1 (12/1)     First Goal Scorer; Shane Long for West Brom (4/1)
Special; West Brom to win with 3 or more goals in the match (9/5)

Accumulator Tip

Bolton v Aston Villa (Home Win)
Norwich v Newcastle (Away Win)
Swansea v Fulham (Away Win)
Arsenal v Everton (Home Win)

Stake: £5       Potential Winnings: £155.63

Champions League Wednesday – Betting Tips

Champions League Wednesday - 7th December

Last match day for groups A to D, as we finally conclude the group stage. 16 teams will advance, 8 group winners and 8 runners up. Will the Manchester clubs be in the draw? Here are my predictions and an accumulator tip.

Basle v Manchester United
Nobody was expecting Manchester United to struggle with this group but they still need a result in what seems a rather daunting fixture now. However, with the return of Nemanja Vidic, United's defence will look more steady and they should qualify tonight. It is likely though that Benfica, will finish 1st, so if Manchester United do qualify, they will have a harder opposition in the next round. Basle need a victory, and the odds of that are 5/1. A draw is at 11/4 whilst Manchester United are 4/7 to win. It's not going to be easy, but I'd for a United win.

Correct Score; 0-2 (6/1)     First Goal Scorer; Wayne Rooney for Manchester United (4/1)
Special; There to be 4+ goals (13/8)

Manchester City v Bayern Munich
Not only do Manchester City need to win this match, but they will be cheering on Villarreal, as they are relying on them to get a result against Napoli. If Napoli win, then Manchester City's game is not important. Bayern Munich are expected to rest some players, as they have already achieved 1st place in the group. Manchester City are favourites at 4/7, with a draw at 3/1. An away win is at 9/2. I think Manchester City will definitely get the win they need, but probably not qualify.

Correct Score; 3-0 (10/1)    First Goal Scorer; Sergio Aguero for Manchester City (7/2)
Special; Manchester City to draw at half time, but then win at full time (7/2)

Villarreal v Napoli
This game is the other one of the group, and it will gather a lot of interest. Villarreal are pointless in this group, and if Napoli win, they advance as group runners up, which would definitely devastate Manchester City. Villarreal are 7/2 to get a win, or 5/2 to get a draw. Napoli are 4/5 to get the win which would see them qualify. I'd go for them, but only just.

Correct Score; 1-2 (7/1)     First Goal Scorer; Marek Hamsik for Napoli (6/1)
Special;  Napoli to win - Draw no bet (2/5)

Accumulator Tip
